EPP - European Election Congress Warsaw - Tribute to Solidarność

Introduction video paying tribute to the legendary union leader Lech Walesa during the 2009 EPP Election Congress in the former Stalinist Palace of Science and Culture in Warsaw.

Based on documentary footage provided by Polish television in combination with interviews figuring the political protagonists of that tumultuous era.

For this video we interviewed former French president Valéry Giscard d'Estaing in his Paris office and received interview footage from George W.Bush senior, vice-president of the USA in the 1980’s.
