Family Aid - Living in poverty

Filming with people living in poverty means first of all getting acquainted and understanding their sensitivities. It takes a lot of courage getting up in the morning knowing that you’re going to have to compromise to make it through the day.
Many succeed with a little help and support from the people of Family Aid. But it’s not an easy job.
The aim of this one year project for Familiehulp (Family Aid) was to get to know and understand the everyday reality of poverty. The next step is to establish a working method to support these families without patronizing them and to act in their best interest with respect for their dignity.
