There’s a hero behind every hero fighting cancer
For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and as a part of the project #BeyondMyMammo, Barco asked us to produce a film that pays tribute to cancer clinicians worldwide and celebrates all caregivers treating cancer patients on a daily basis.
For this assignment we filmed at the NHS Oxford University Hospitals - John Radcliffe and Churchill - in close collaboration with their communications department and the medical staff.
Along the patients' pathway, and in between the very tied planning schedules, we interviewed the breast care nurse, radiologist, oncologist and oncoplastic breast surgeon.
For reasons of privacy, all patients, relatives and visitors featuring in this film are artists cast in the UK (big thank you to Phoenix Casting and their fabulous artists).
The result is a short teaser video to launch the campaign and a main film presenting the drive and commitment of cancer clinicians worldwide.
